The ICA is offering FREE admission for all on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Mon, Jan 20.

On view

Celebrate the legacy of MLK with the public opening of two new exhibitions: Tschabalala Self: Out of Body + Carolina Caycedo. Plus, don’t miss the acclaimed exhibition When Home Won’t Let You Stay: Migration through Contemporary Art before it closes on Sun, Jan 26.

Art making

Join us in the Bank of America Art Lab to create a personal banner that represents something you believe in! Use glue or sewing techniques to tell your stories through fabric. Be inspired by the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and the many stories represented in When Home Won’t Let You Stay and share your own.

Film

Catch a free screening of A Wall Is a Wall: Short Film Program in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater (playing on a loop from 11 AM – 4 PM), and presented in conjunction with When Home Won’t Let You Stay.
