Marquis Victor is the Founding Executive Director of Elevated Thought. He leads ET’s vision, objectives, goals and mission, and facilitates many of their programs and workshops. Additionally, Marquis has developed various art and social justice based curriculum including ET’s youth empowerment program. He has managed ET’s contract with the Lawrence Mayor’s Health Task Force to coordinate the Lawrence Youth Council for almost four years.
In addition to being a poet, videographer, and photographer, Marquis has a master’s degree in Education from Lesley University and has taught in Revere and Boston, MA Public Schools. He compiled over seven years of public school experience before focusing on Elevated Thought full-time and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education at Northeastern University. He lives in Methuen with his wife and daughter.
