Cultural Strategist and Educator; Co-creator, Multicultural Critical Reflective Practice
Keonna Hendrick (she/her or they/them) is a cultural strategist, educator and author nurturing equity through art and museum education. Ms. Hendrick’s writing has appeared in numerous publications including the Journal of Museum Education (2017), Multiculturalism in Art Museums Today (2014) and the Journal of Folklore and Education (2016). Keonna currently serves as School Programs Manager at the Brooklyn Museum, where she leads a department of dynamic educators to design learning experiences that invite learners to expand their understanding of themselves and the world. She holds a B.A. in History and Studio Art from Wake Forest University and a M.A. in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University.
