Isaac Madera is an artist and a 10th grade student attending Boston Collegiate Charter School. He is in his third year of the Teen Bridge program at the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts, an intensive art, mentorship and job-training program. He has worked as a teaching assistant during the Summer Program at the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts. Art is a window into what goes on in Isaac’s mind and how he thinks. He describes his art as an “expression of personality and feelings without using words”. Most of Isaac’s recent artwork heavily draws inspiration from his constantly growing interest in music, his second passion and hobby. His overall goal as an artist is to be able to fluently convey feeling through both his art and music.
