Senior Museum Educator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Teen Queen of the Teen Council
In her position at Senior Museum Educator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Teen Queen of the Teen Council, Holly York coordinates youth studio classes, Family Days, summer camps, tween and teen events . She was previously the Community Programs Coordinator at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, where she created a drop-in space for families with young children and helped form the Teen Council. She was also a McDermott Education Intern for Family and Access Programs at the Dallas Museum of Art where she researched and piloted the Art Babies program for infants and their caregivers. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Kansas State University and a Master of Arts in Art Education along with a Graduate Academic Certificate in Art Museum Education from the University of North Texas.
