Teen Arts Council
Teen Arts Council (TAC) is a group of paid teens from the Boston area that serve other teens. In TAC, our work focuses on addressing social issues and introducing teens to the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) and art in general. We feel that art is a form of expression as well as a tool for activism.
We organize events throughout the year to connect with teens. This includes our seasonal Teen Night– where we organize a night of art-making and youth performances. We also organize The Current which focuses on socio-political issues that affect teens in Boston.
Compensation is $990 for the 55-hour program. We meet on Thursdays, 4-7 PM, from Jan 18 through May 9, 2024. We do not meet on Feb 22 or Apr 18. We also come together to hold events on Fri, Mar 8, 4:30-7:30 PM and Sat, May 4, 3-9:30 PM.
