Join Jami Powell, Associate Curator of Native American Art at the Hood Museum of Art, for an in-depth look into Jeffrey Gibson’s new work DON’T MAKE ME OVER, included in Less Is a Bore: Maximalist Art & Design. Powell, a citizen of the Osage Nation, will discuss the various materials and handicraft techniques Gibson employs to merge indigenous artistic legacies with his personal stories.
